Lakshadweep - The Small Indian Island Paradise
The bunch of 36 small islands together in Arabian sea is called as "Lakshadweep" and it is one of the Union territories of India. Though India got independence in 1947, Lakshadweep was given under Indian ownership in year 1956.

While in modern period, great Tipu Sultan had control of half portion and remaining half portion was controlled by British. Finally, sun arises and on special occasion of 1 Nov 1956 it was declared as part of independent India.

How to reach there?
Air India has regular flight to reach there. So, the arrival will be from Kochi (Kerala) and Agatti island will be your departure point, because this is the only departure point at Lakshadweep. Things to know before visiting Lakshadweep
1) As per the rule of government of India, tourist have to complete their complete heath check-up and get register ID for travelling there. If your test is positive for any of unwanted disease which can be spread publicly (by viral form), then you will be not allowed to visit there.
2) Airtel and BSNL are the only service provider there so if you want to use your own cell, then you must have this connection card.
