Best places to visit in Mysore Day - 2

Well, well well....so I left you last time at the Brindavan garden at the end of our first day in Mysore. If we are looking by our eagle eye Mysore gets divide into two parts like Historical face and god's land.so good morning for our new day let's begin.

Chamundi temple

Chamundi Temple is the place which at high amplitude and needs half hour to reach from main city. While travelling towards the temple you can capture the different shades of Mysore city. We can feel the beautiful clean city. Rush during the holidays will be on another level but yes, the real fun you will get in those days only. Once you complete the pooja inside temple take pradakshina and roam there in small market.

Statue of Mahishasura

Just Infront and very adjacent to the Chamundi Temple statue of Mahishasura is their history of the statue is there only written on wall take a time to read and then you are free to move towards our next point.

Sand museum

It's time to get down from hill and once you will come down there is small place called sand museum. The place run by a girl MN Gauri and it's not historical museum it's a passion of that girl with the help of sand. she creates a different shade of beauty; on current affairs she changes the statue according to that. Hardly spend 20-30 mins so that we will be having time for our next station which will be time taking and big as well.

Nandi statue (Big bull)

To reach the Nandi statue we have to take our vehicle U turn and after 3km we will be just Infront of the Lord Shiva's Nandi which we called big bull statue there. History behind this is not available anywhere all the Stories you will get there are fake but yes, they are saying if you’re telling your wish in Nandi’s ear, he will convey the same to lord shiva. The location of big bull statue is like high pick point of Mysore. You can see whole city with your eyes.

Zoological Garden

India’s oldest and wildest zoon in Mysore which covers almost 157acre area in centre of the city and having a around 1257 different type of animals & birds. The place where you will feel relax after your whole journey of the day. Till evening 6 you can enjoy the small Safari.

We crossed the magnificent Bandra-worli Sea link and were overwhelmed by the curve of Mumbai, that is the stony coast of the  MarineDrive , popularly known as  the necklace of Mumbai .
