Tik Tik Tik.... the watch makes
the sound when the deep quietness is there.
That was the day, when I was tired and sick from my daily routine. After completing night shift, we were on the way back to home. Suddenly, the thought came in my mind for some adventure or for going out of station, away from that daily routine. It was around 3 am and without taking care of sleep, we were thinking of travel. It was about 6 am yet we were not sure about where to go?? We just get out of house with some food & water in bag. While sitting on bike, one of my friends suddenly said let's go to Savan Durga hills. Its name made us feel like God temple hill (religious place...) My mind was like nahhhh... don't go 😂😂. But my friends insisted me to visit with them. Fortunately, place wasn't that religious I was thinking of. Let me take you to whole journey.
We started from Hosur on 6:15 am and our
destination was around approximately 80 km from Hosur. The first stop was Dodda
Alada Mara, it is the place where the gods old gift is available. I was shocked
and you might also be wondered as the banyan tree there, is spread in 1.5
hector area. The owner of tree used to count each branch of that tree and
maintaining it since last 58 years.
We took a walk around that area
and once done we kick-started our bike and moved towards destination.
In between this journey, there
are two more viewpoints. One can take break there and catch some memories. As
we started a bit late, we have decided not to take break and move continuously
towards our destination. Finally, we had reached our destination. The view was Infront
of my eye. From bottom, it was looking like very small but that was not hence I
called it unplanned. We planned for small trek but all our ideas failed. Hill
was not like what we expected. In mid of travel, once our leg started answering
as we wore jeans on that day 😅😅. But, the view
at top was awesome.
These are some of pics that we captured there.
On the top of hill, one can get
some refreshments then give some time to your soul to feel the nature. In whole
trek, only one thing bad was that our one teammate got dehydrated and was
unable to climb to top and this we get to know when we reached at down 🤣🤣.
TIP: Try to start early
morning or go late in evening. Sunset and Sunrise are the best time to see this
place and go with full plan as it’s not a small hill. Also, don't forget to get
enough water which will help to prevent from dehydration.
