So, we have started our journey from Dehradun by hiring Ola cab. The journey was full of mountains & valleys but when the ghats started were amazed with the stunning and indescribable view of Mussoorie.
Let's begin the soul nourishing journey of Green Mussoorie. Though the Mussoorie has scenic beauty everywhere but there are some of the special places which are must to visit.
1. Kempty Fall
One of the best and most famous waterfalls of Mussoorie. It
is 5 km away from Library Chowk (The city centre). In Mussoorie, local
conveyance is only limited to private cabs / taxis & rented two wheelers.
It is due to steep & small roads. However, we have booked cab for it.
Kempty fall is the beautiful waterfall that attracts human mind and make them
feel relax with chilled flowing water. Those tiny little water droplets sprinkle
over you & force you to fall for it.
One can swim near this waterfall on sunny days. For those
who are fond of photography, I would recommend them to click @ upper waterfall
instead of its bottom. The view there, is the most eye catching & very few
people knew about that place so good for enjoying scenic beauty peacefully.
2. George Everest
The second place to visit should be George Everest. Don't get confused guys, it's not Mount Everest but it is likely to be a Mt Everest because it is almost 7000ft from the sea level. I would highly recommend you to reach here as early as possible because road to reach here steep. Also, you would have to climb hundreds of stairs to reach @ top. This is the place for real trekkers & night camping lovers. You can do night camping, bonfire & self-barbeque on the top of George Everest. The view from here starts with green waves of mountains followed by white snowy Himalayan ranges. The weather here remains too cold, so try to wear hot suits, the all-time Mussoorie Weather. We can have many wallpapers picture which looks amazing without any editing.
3. Dalai Hills
This should be your place to see sunset view in Mussoorie.
This is the most peaceful place I have ever visited. One can reach her by taxi
or cab followed by 100m stairs. This place is blessed by Lord Buddha statue
& monastery. When we reached at the top of Dalai hills, we were paused with
the surrounding nature and the statue of Great Lord Gautam Buddha. It was
surrounded by well-wishing satisfaction flags which calms the mind
You can have Great photoshoot from the top of Dalai Hills it
is almost 6500 ft from sea surface so it is worth to have peace with nature and
capturing the small memories. Make sure you visit the monastery too. It just at
the foots of stairs to Dalai Hills. The cylindrical drum here are claiming
about the peace of our mindful nature. The continuous chanting of
Om Ma Ni Pad Me
Hum
Om Ma Ni Pad Me Hum
soothes the soul deep inside. It is very famous in Asian Buddhist culture as it reflects the peace of mindful nature.
4. Mussoorie View @ Dusk
Basically, dusk is the time after sunset & before the
night. We were grateful to witness this astronomical twilight at Mussoorie. The
view completely catches my heart & I was supposed to give up with this
fantastic charming view of wonderful Mussoorie twilight. It makes you feel like
a night view painting painted by professional artist.
Probably, it might be true & that artist would be the
Supreme almighty (God)
5. Shiny Night view of Dehradun
The view of Dehradun from the top of Mussoorie amazed more
than anything because it looks like a static pic with sparkling on it. One must
see this beautiful view to know how world looks like in the night. Other than
this scenario, you can do shopping @ Mall Road & Library Chowk. This place
is delight to shop as well as to eat. It is full of series of shops,
restaurants, street foods, street vendors, game parlours, skating rinks and the
Colonial styled Houses.
